I have always been the type of person to work. I love it.
I HAVE to be doing something. No matter what that might be.
As I've gotten older I've been reflecting on the jobs that I have picked up, and let me tell you... I just fit into the working community.
When I was 5 my parents and I moved to my now hometown of Pittsboro, NC. In town there was this cute red building which was owned by the best family around. Every Saturday I remember going in there as my 5 year-old-self to grab a cookie as a family tradition started. One day the owner looked at me and said "when you turn of age, you'll have your first job."
When I turned 15, the family extended their business to have two separate stores. A feed store and a pet store. I applied for a workers permit and I officially stated my first job on February 24th, 2016 and to this day, I go back and work for them.
This family has done so much for me and they have accepted me as if I was their own. I have so many words to say, but I wanted to start off by saying thank you.
At such a young age, being wanted to work was the best feeling in the world. The Millers taught me that. They taught me to love what I do and, most importantly, they taught me how to work with others.
Today, not many people do that.
Ever since then, I have had many jobs. I've worked as a CNA, nanny, camp counselor, etc. but I always find myself back in the employment of the Millers.
I can't help myself.
Working means a lot to me and I cannot thank the Millers enough for giving me that passion.
I'll always be a Miller at heart!
