Today, I wanted to list out some of my favorite Scriptures for anything you may be going through. I have highlighted these specific ones in my Bible and often go back to look at them! They are truly an inspiration when I need it the most.
Anxiety
1 Peter 5:7
"Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
2 Thessalonians 3:16
"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all."
Philippians 4:6
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
Matthew 6:25
"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"
Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful."
1 Peter 4:8
"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins."
Romans 13:8"
Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law."
1 Corinthians 13:13
"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
Patience
Romans 12:12
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."
Ephesians 4:2
"I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love."
Psalm 40:1
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry."
James 5:8
"You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand."
Encouragement
Romans 8:31–32
"What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?"
Romans 5:4–5
"And endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us."
1 John 4:8–9
"Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him."
Psalm 26:2–4
"Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and mind. For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you."
