Dear Mom,

Not going to lie just typing “dear mom” I almost started crying.

Today, is your day. Today is a very special to all moms around, but let me tell you why today is YOUR day. Today is the day I honor you the most. Don’t get me wrong I honor you everyday, but this specific day makes me realize how special you are.

You have always been there for me. From the highest moments of my life, to the extreme downs where no mother wants to go through with their child. I am so thankful for you mom. You have no idea how much I look up to you as a women, a mother and a person on this earth. You are the strongest person I know.

I am so beyond proud and grateful to call you my mom. You stand by my side with any decision I make and you are always there, even when I don’t expect you too.

I always thought you had super powers growing up. When I’m upset, without me saying anything to you, you know to come to me with open arms and a shoulder to cry on. When there’s something wrong, you always hide it to make sure we are taken care of first. You guide me on the right path, you steer me to success... and that that’s all from you.

I look up to you so much. You are the best mother that not even I could compare to someday. No one will top you. Not even myself.

I remember when I was younger and how we would butt heads because we are so alike. But today, you are my inspiration. You are my guide. My best friend. And you are my mom.

Mother’s Day isn’t all about giving birth to a child. It’s how you guide them, be there for them and teach them life lessons that they will always be grateful for. You are THAT mom.

So with that, Happy Mother’s Day to my best support system I could ever ask for. You mean the absolute world to me and trust me when I say... I don’t know where I would be without you.
