Friendship

I am beyond blessed to be able to have a group of people to stand by my side, no matter what. A couple of years ago, it was hard for me to keep friendships. I had different morals than a lot of people and I wanted to make sure I kept them, especially for myself.
Friendship, to me, means a lot. To be able to have a go-to person, or even people at that matter, to call when you are having a bad day... is the best feeling in the world.
You see, I'm a great listener. Someone can call me and just talk and I will be there for them.
But... sometimes you need that for yourself. Not many people were there for me when it came to that, only because I was so good at listening to them. I often got stuck. I got stuck to the point where I couldn't focus on my own problems, and I often didn't know how to handle them. I put others before my own issues.
Today, I truly understand what it like to have healthy friendships. Just like a relationship... it needs to be a 50/50 split.
I'm not quite sure where I'm going with this post... I guess you can say I miss my friends.
My friends support me, help me through anything I possibly need and most importantly they listen.

To all my friends out there, near and far, I miss you!
