What this birthday meant to me...

Let me be honest for a second, last years birthday wasn't quite ideal. It was a birthday I don't want to remember by any means. Last year I made a vow to myself... "My 20th birthday is going to be the best one yet" Well that vow was made in 2019... and time changes. Things pop up and well... change. I made plans with my friends, had it all laid out and things turned for the better. During this time, I have been self-isolating at home and I'm not going to lie I wasn't looking forward to my birthday. I just thought it wouldn't live up to the expectations I had made for myself. Little did I know, it was the best birthday I could've asked for. My parents made it so special for me and that is something I'll forever be grateful for. Today, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you to all who made my birthday beyond special for me especially during this unknown time. So with that being said... CHEERS to 20 years!! -Kenzie Kaye
